The Airtronic now features both functional expansions and a longer service life. A new brushless motor has extended service life to 5000 hours and is now much quieter. The fuel metering pump acoustics have also been improved to create a compact economical heater that is perfect for cargo heater or bunk heater applications.
Airtronic units like the new M2-D4L are suitable for a variety of applications but are especially well suited as a bunk heater for the cab and sleeper in class 8 trucks, workshop vehicles, and as a cargo heater in vehicle freight compartments. These diesel heaters operate quietly and cycle through four output levels to provide the optimum temperatures at all times.
