Thermo King Eastern Canada sells services and reconditions all major brands of transport equipment to manage temperature control environments for food and other perishables. We are a fast growing company looking to add an additional, and exceptional, Service Administrator to join our winning team.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the Mobile Service Coordinator is responsible for monitoring customers units for maintenance needs, as well as assisting with breakdown prevention by identifying and scheduling service needs for vehicles. The Mobile Service Coordinator will coordinate with our mobile technicians to repair vehicles on or off site as required by customers.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service support by focusing on problem solving, following up with customers regularly, while obtaining all specific vehicle/customer information required for proper repairs, communication, and invoicing
  • Dispatch technicians daily by organizing and maintaining daily schedules based on the call priority and technicians’ abilities.
  • Ensure all documentation on repair orders (RO’s) are completed with correct operation-repair types, ser #’s, mileage, signatures, etc.
  • Process repair orders and finalize customers’ invoices.
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and obtaining customer’s approval of estimates which includes customer PO#’s, communicate vehicle statuses when completed, and process COD payments.
  • Order parts for scheduled appointments as required by communicating with the parts dept. and following up with customers on completion timelines.
  • Leave detailed notes for the next shift to ensure they are updated on the status of customers vehicles, as well as any promises communicated that required follow up.
  • Strive to maintain a minimum of non-billable shop/travel hours

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Understanding of operational concepts including planning, scheduling, and logistics
  • Familiarity with Dispatching Software
