Everyone had a great time at Truck World 2024!

We are incredibly grateful to all those who were able to attend Truck World 2024. During these three exciting days, the trucking industry learned about the latest in green technology, made new connections, and developed strategies to improve their business operations. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and reconnect with old friends and colleagues in the business. A special thank you to all our customers for dropping by, enjoying some ice cream and just having fun. We truly appreciate your patronage.

Precedent® S-750i

The Precedent® S-750i captured the attention of many visitors in the booth this year. As a refrigeration powerhouse, this diesel electrical trailer refrigeration unit is made for transport fleets, retailers, and pharmaceutical businesses that need efficient green-tech power solutions. At a time when many logistics companies are trying to lower their carbon footprint, the Precedent® S-750i complies while ensuring the quality and safety of temperature-sensitive perishable products.

Telematics

Telematics continues to be top-of-mind at the show, and real-time data is driving critical decisions that must satisfy food safety regulations in Canada/USA. The suite of Telematics products showcased at the show included TracKing® Pro Telematics and Remote Operating Centre (ROC). Thermo King’s telematics solutions have evolved to provide temperature-controlled fleets with diagnostics downloads, energy usage and analytics dashboards, and cutting-edge algorithms that offer predictive alert notifications.

Coldtainer

Our Coldtainer portable refrigerated and heated containers grabbed the most visitor attention at this year’s Truck World. Many attendees enjoyed delicious ice cream treats that were kept perfectly chilled and served up by the Thermo King booth staff during the show. With Coldtainer’s low energy consumption, light-weight specs and various sizings options, many of our visitors were impressed with their applications for food, pharma, and logistics.

TriPac® Evolution and Envidia

The TriPac® Evolution and TriPac®’s Envidia electric auxiliary power unit (APU) were top-of-mind for many fleet owners and operators interested in reducing driver turnover and improving their bottom line. Installing an APU not only delivers driver comfort, better driver recruitment, and driver retention, but also helps reduce idling times, and lowers maintenance costs. Our product specialists were there to answer questions and discuss the latest 3rd generation APU technology.

e300

Not far from its larger cousin, the Thermo King e300 all-electric transport refrigeration unit (TRU) was in the booth showcasing a sustainable delivery solution for light-duty Class 2–4 vehicles. Designed for smaller refrigerated box trucks, this electric TRU is perfect for fresh and frozen applications and utilizes R-452A refrigerant that lowers greenhouse gas emissions and the global warming potential (GWP). Visitors were pleased to note that the Thermo King e300 is fully compatible with electric cargo vehicle (EV) chassis designs.

e1000 Electric TRU

Built for Class 5-7 trucks, the e1000 was front-and-centre in the Thermo King booth. Unveiled to the Canadian trucking industry, the e1000 is the latest high-capacity electric truck reefer unit that meets zero emissions rules, including CARB. It provides reliable refrigeration for perishable food products and other temperature-sensitive goods during transportation. It’s a solution that makes sustainability easily attainable for your transport temperature-controlled fleet.

Air Curtain

A new edition to the Thermo King booth this year was the Air Curtain by BlueSeal for cargo temperature management applications. The perfect cost-effective companion to a dedicated transport refrigeration solution, the Air Curtain maintains the cargo temperature (freezing, cold, and ambient) without obstructing the driver during loading and unloading. It creates an effective barrier from insects, dust, and smoke from entering the cargo area and reduces the excess fuel needed to pull down cargo temperatures by up to 45% during door openings.
